UTAX GmbH looks back on a successful financial year in 2005.
“The year 2005 went very well for us. In the DOC sector, we posted an overall turnover of EUR 111.2 million and thus a sales increase of 11.3 per cent,” reports UTAX Managing Director Michael Becker.

An increase in unit sales of 14.9 per cent was achieved in Germany with around 19,700 copy systems sold. Internationally, 10.4 per cent more copy systems were sold than in the year 2004.

The presentation and media technology product area, for which UTAX GmbH has been responsible since the start of 2005, finished the 2005 financial year with a turnover of EUR 7.4 million. Therefor the overall result of UTAX GmbH in the financial year 2005 is € 118.6 million.

Strategies for 2006 forecast further growth. Becker: “We look forward to many new products, especially in the colour segment, where we have, as yet, not been so strongly represented. We also see further potential for our UTAX CONSULTING and UTAX DOCUMENT CONSULTING concepts. It is for this reason that we will further concentrate our focus on our role as an overall solution provider. The steps we have taken in the past towards this end, such as the integration of the UTAX Docforms GmbH into the UTAX group, the associated product portfolio extension to include form management, plus accounting, electronic archiving, as well as the addition of the presentation and media technology division, should all go a long way towards ensuring future successes together with our partners.”
