CDC 1850: A3 Multifunctional Colour System for Individual Applications (March 2010)

With the new A3 multifunctional colour system CDC 1850 UTAX is presenting a productive solution for larger departments for copying, printing, scanning and optional faxing.
The system offers a copying and printing speed of 50/55 A4 pages (colour/ b/w) and 25/28 A3 pages, respectively.

The use of innovative toner technology results in a wider colour range and a higher level of precision as regards image quality. Optimised development technology results in a consistently thin layer of toner on the output documents. The effect is a uniform print image.

The trapping function prevents white gaps between black text and a coloured background.

A reliable paper transport system with a vertical paper feed increases the productivity. The CDC 1850 processes paper formats from A6R to A3. The standard paper capacity of 1,100 sheet can optionally be expanded up to 4,100 sheet. This enables the system to create high-quality presentation documents, proposals or graphics.

The optional document processor scans double-sided documents in a single operation. Up to 100 images can be processed per minute. The system offers intelligent scan functions like scan to SMB, scan to e-mail and scan to FTP.

The CDC 1850 features the innovative HyPAS technology. This technology allows user-specific applications and customisable workflows to be realised. Complex scan applications, for example, can be adapted to suit the user´s needs. Ease of use increases significantly thanks to the large, adjustable colour touch screen.

A comprehensive range of security functions satisfies the very latest requirements in terms of secure document management.
